I created this intro credits for the 1985 film, Clue, based on the board game of the same name. The animation process consisted of storyboarding, sketching, illustrating, rigging, animating, and adding sound to the animation.
It was required in incorporate each of the main characters along with their color schemes and their weapons that appear later in the film, so six of the shots include one character, color, and weapon. I also added scenes to set up the beginning of the movie, including sending the letters to the guests. To hint, but not spoil the contents of the movies, other scenes feature areas around the mansion. Since this is an open credits, most of the room on the screen of each scene is reserved for the credits themselves and I made sure that each credit stays on the screen long enough to be read. I also had to split the audio between the different scenes in order for it to play properly. All of the animation done was created using classic tweens, shape tweens, motion tweens, and masks.
