I designed a booklet highlighting an exhibit for the Museum of Science in Alvarado, Texas based on text I had been provided. An important note for this booklet is that it’s meant to engage elementary level kids to read about butterflies. All of the drawn elements are made in Illustrator and converted into pngs for later use.
Meanwhile, for any photos I had used, I put each photo in Photoshop and removed the background from the desired item and converted each into a png file. To bring it all together, I formatted the pages of the booklet in InDesign and place the other assets. When I originally did this project, I was required to only use Illustrator to create the entire booklet, so reformatting it into InDesign and being able to use photos makes the final result more visually appealing.
